Description
Hornets depicts an imagined city created across the backs of the hornets I often see in nature in Taiwan. It is a triptych with a larger central panel. The city was inspired by Buenos Aires and some buildings from that city, including the Palacio Barolo and the Kavanagh Tower, are depicted. For some information about this series and other works in it see here: http://tomrookart.com/gallery
Hornets is a framed original drawing in fineliner pen with a watercolor ink background. It was created on thick, high grade watercolor paper.
All inks and paints used are archival and a fixative has been used for protection against fading and discoloration. The drawing is framed using an attractive floating frame method.
Measurements including frame: Central panel: 71 x 71cm. Side panels: 71 x 30cm each
This drawing is signed and will come with a certificate of authenticity. It is possible a print will be created of it for use in exhibitions but no plan has been made yet in that regard.
Delivery with Taiwan is free. Delivery outside of Taiwan will depend on the country so please contact me beforehand.
