商品描述
This is the first of a series of smaller prints featuring different Taipei locations and scenes. This one is centered on one of my favorite parts of the city: the Longshan Temple and Bopiliao blocks. Not only are they both interesting sites themselves but the lanes and alleyways around them hold a lot of lesser-known places that I've been able to include on this drawing. If you look closely you can spot U-Market, the Dizang Temple, Herb Alley, and the Sanshui St covered market. Each of these has a history ranging from 90 to 300 years, with Dizang, a temple dedicated to the overseer of the underworld, being one of the oldest in Taipei.
This print was designed from a larger Wanhua drawing that is also available (I have a framed one elsewhere on this site) and was made by filling out one of the curves on that design to focus just on the temple and historic areas.
This is an open edition print and so will be signed with my digitized signature. It will be printed on archival 308gsm cotton rag paper with fade-proof inks.
The print measures 40 x 20 cm, which means it can fit into off-the-shelf standard frames.
